Get Ready for Spring With This Giveaway From Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

We have been having unusually warm temperatures so far this year, and my children have been so excited to see all of the new flowers start blooming in our area. My older two children are especially excited, and they both keep asking when we can start planting. With the type of weather we usually have, I know we may have another few days of frost, so I want to wait until next month to start planting. In the meantime, I am starting to plan our garden, which will be our first garden at our new home. I have always been a big fan of Miracle-Gro® products. One year we planted flowers and added Miracle-Gro® and the flowers turned out beautifully.

If you're getting ready for planting season and ready to start getting all of your supplies together, then I have a wonderful new product to let you know about. This year Miracle-Gro® has a new product that is sure to help your gardens become beautiful and luscious. Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix is an innovative new product that can be used for both planting in the ground and in pots. This planting mix transform the soil into an ideal environment for plants, so you can expect better yields and great results.

What makes Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro so unique?
It is created from a special formula of Miracle-Gro® plant food and all-natural coconut coir fiber. Coir is derived from the husks of coconuts. The fibers are used in the manufacturing of numerous items, including mattresses and garden pots. The leftover pieces of fiber were once thrown away, but they are now compressed and used as soil amendments. When coir is compressed, it features a honeycomb shape and sponge-like cell structure that re-expands when water is added. This unique attribute lets the coir permanently re-expand, which helps improve moisture quality and bulk density for plant growth.

I have worked with soil that is hard or clay-like before, and Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro is the ideal solution for those types of soil. Since it can retain more moisture that native soil, Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro helps water to be used more efficiently. It will release the proper amount of water to plants, so there is no worry over under or over watering. One of my main concerns with growing flowers is ensuring that the plants receive the correct amount of water. I think that the benefits of Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro will help make it easier to create a beautiful garden this year with plenty of gorgeous flowers. I am excited to try it out in our garden this year. I also like that it comes in a lightweight bag. I have purchased large bags of potting soil before that were hard to carry and even more difficult to use. This is something that my children can help me use and we can create a special garden together, while achieving great results. We usually only do flowers, but my children have been wanting to try out vegetables this year, so I am looking forward to two gardens this year--one with pretty flowers and one with vegetables.
