A Little Bit Crafty Part 2: Fleece Snow Hat

I have not been able to sew much this past year, but my husband needed a pair of pants fixed, so I decided to drag out the sewing machine. It actually felt good to sit down and sew something, so when my oldest daughter asked me to make her a snow hat, I thought it would be fun. I have a ton of fabric, but only had one piece of fleece, which has a fire truck design. Not what the little princess wanted, but it would have to do for now. Unfortunately, as a novice in sewing, I was not aware that the fabric only stretched one way. The hat turned out too small for my little princess, but it did fit the two little ones. I think it turned out fairly nice, and my little one's like to wear it. I will be getting more fleece soon to make other hats for my girls in different colors.

I followed the tutorial from Make it and Love it.
