Milano Series Diaper Bag Review and Giveaway

Since having children, I have found that it is essential to have a nice diaper bag that can hold of the items we need when we're out. We usually ended up using the free ones from the hospital, but they were never very big or had enough pockets for everything. I would end up cramming the bag full of a bunch of items, then I could never find what I needed. My younger two children are still in diapers, so we definitely need a nice diaper bag, but I have never found one that really looked like it would be big enough for all the stuff we need--and look stylish. I came across the website for Milano Series, and noticed the diapers bags they offer. They looked stylish and appeared to be a good size, so I was excited when they agreed to do a review and giveaway on my blog.

My Review: I was sent a sky blue diaper bag by Milano Series for review. When I first opened the package, I noticed that it had been packed carefully and there was also a cute green tote bag inside. The tote was a special surprise and it will be ideal for using for trips to the store.

The diaper bag looks well-made and features a sky blue print and brown accents. The size of the diaper bag is pretty big, but we need something spacious since we have two children in diapers and two older children that sometimes want to bring a toy, book, or water bottle when we go out. One of the problems I had with our other diaper bags is that none of them were ever roomy enough for  clothing, diaper supplies, snacks, and extra items. This diaper bag is fairly large, but not so big that I feel like I am carrying around a backpack.

Here are some of the features of the diaper bag:
  • Adjustable arm strap (29 to 54.5 inches)
  • Made from high-quality polyester
  • Front zippered pocket
  • Two open side pockets
  • Two open front pockets
  • Inside zippered pocket
  • Back open pocket
  • Included changing pad
  • Attractive quilted pattern
  • Available in sky blue, green, pink, and black

To show how spacious this diaper bag is, I decided to show you just how much you can fit inside. I have not been carrying a purse lately, as it is just one more thing I have to carry and really not necessary. I usually end up putting my keys, phone, cards, and money in my pockets (not so easy when it's to warm to wear a coat and I'm wearing jeans that don't have big pockets). The front zippered pocket is wonderful for my items, so I can easily grab what I need without having to dig through my pockets or through another bag. The inner portion of the bag has plenty of room for clothing, diapers, wipes, drinks, toys, books, and more.

Diaper bag is stocked full of extra clothing, diapers, wipe pack, a water bottle, snack, and toys.

Back pocket is wonderful for books, coloring books, and crayons.

I think this bag is well-made and will stand up to daily use. I have found that some diaper bags end up ripping or falling apart after prolonged use, but this one appears to be sturdy and durable. The only thing I would add is possibly a Velcro closure to the back pocket so the items stay in. The pocket is snug, so it shouldn't really be an issue, but I may like a button, snap, or Velcro closure for that part. Of course, there is the zippered front pocket, but I kind of took that over. One of the features of the diaper bag that I like the best is all of the pockets. There are a total of seven extra pockets, some are open and some are zippered, but they are all wonderful for organization. I have had diaper bags that only have one or two pockets, and I always end up digging through the bag looking for what I need. This diaper bag has a spacious inner portion, plus the other seven pockets to store items in.

Overall, I am happy to have found a diaper bag that is spacious enough for everything I need to carry, without seeming like I am carrying a suitcase with me. I like that it is light-weight and features a pretty quilted pattern that adds a bit of style to the bag. The brown accents are really nice and give the bag an attractive look.
