Soft Clothing Review and Giveaway

As a mom to four, I know that some children develop sensory issues or preferences in regards to clothing. My oldest son has several mental health, behavioral, and emotional health issues, so sometimes he does have clothing preferences. He does not have specific sensory issues where certain things bother him all the time, but sometimes if he is anxious or having a difficult day, something small that normally doesn't bother him, may end up causing him to become upset. When I found the Soft Clothing Company, I thought their products looked fantastic for both children with special needs and just for children in general, so I was excited when they offered me a pack of undies to review.

About The Company:

"Many children are extra-sensitive to the texture and feel of clothing. Soft® is the first line of inclusive clothing designed with the needs of all children in mind, including those with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, and tactile defensiveness/sensitivity. We use flat seaming and seamless construction for extra comfort, 100% of the softest combed cotton and our specially developed Soft Sensory Blends , wide collars, encased elastic waistbands, printed labels (tagless), custom fits, and much more.
Created by a Mom and Special Education teacher, our goal is to design clothing that can enhance social skills, sensory organization, concentration, by addressing unique sensory needs, but without sacrificing personal style and self expression."
You can stay up to date on new offers and learn more about the products from Soft Clothing by visiting their website, liking them on Facebook, or following them on Twitter.  Make sure to check out their Facebook page, which is where they help connect families with children who have SPD or Autism, share deals and resources, and release new information about products.

My Review: I received a 3-pack of boys seamless underwear for review. It took three years for the Soft Clothing underwear to be designed and manufactured. The company took into consideration many of the things that a child with sensory or sensitivity issues may dislike, such as elastic, certain cuts and seams, before finding a design that would be comfortable. Each pair is created with an organic cotton blend and Soft Spandex, and is also manufactured to be completely seamless.

The underwear comes in a set of boxer-style undies that feature white and blue colors. I immediately noticed how surprisingly soft the underwear was. I would imagine that the rest of the clothing they offer must be just as soft. Upon opening the package, I also noticed that the packaging contained cute little paper doll cut-outs on the top. They are plain and can be colored, which is a cute little addition to the packaging that makes it creative and unique.

The underwear came out of the wash feeling just as soft as when I had first opened the package. I noticed that each pair of underwear really seemed seamless and there were no tags that could become itchy or scratchy. My son decided to try a pair and he even said how soft they were. They are not the same style of underwear he usually wears, but he liked that there were no tags and that they were soft. He is quite thin, so I worried they may not fit snugly enough, but they fit him well and he didn't say anything about them dropping or becoming loose.

I would definitely recommend Soft Clothing undies for a child with sensory disorders or even just for children in general. I think it is difficult enough for a child to have to deal with sounds, sights, and smells that can be overwhelming, so their clothing should be something that can keep them as comfortable as possible.
