I am always on the look-out for new snacks for my children.
I do like to offer my children healthy options, such as yogurt, bananas or fresh
veggies, but some days they do eat prepackaged snacks. When I came across Jody’s

a treat once in a while. So, I was excited when they offered to send me a few
bags to sample.
About The Company: Jody and her husband Alan used to share date night strolls walking along the streets of Chicago as they shared caramel popcorn. When they moved to Virginia Beach, they realized that the area was lacking in places that sold caramel corn. So, they had the idea to create Jody’s Popcorn, which started in 2005. Alan spent plenty of time creating an ultimate recipe, as they wanted their popcorn to be better than any commercially available brands. They continued to pursue the dream while adopting the motto “Amazing or Bust.” After 53 tries, they finally found a delicious recipe that they knew was amazing. They have now grown out of their garage, but they still take the time to craft recipes that are delicious and created with the best ingredients.

My Review: I received several sample packs of their famous
Caramel Corn for review. My oldest son has been dealing with more food
aversions that he used too, so I wasn’t sure if he would want to try the
popcorn. At first, he refused to eat it, but the next day he wanted to snack on
a bag. I was surprised when he said he did like the popcorn and he sat down to
have a snack. The small sample-sized bags were ideal for portion control and having a small snack.
My younger children all liked the popcorn. They thought it
was sweet and crunchy, without tasting bland or stale. You often worry that
popcorn may lose some of its flavor and freshness with being shipped from
somewhere else, but there were no complaints from anyone here about that. I would have taken a few pictures of the bags
we received, but my children ate them so quickly that they were gone within a
day. I think that pretty much sums up that they were a yummy snack that they
just couldn’t stop snacking on. We may try a few new packs soon, since I think my
husband would probably like to try the jalapeño kind and my children would
probably enjoy any of the other recipes.
